The Art of Noticing

There is something sacred about slowing down long enough to truly notice the beauty that surrounds you.

The Art of Noticing is a printmaking experience created for those who long to reconnect with creativity, nature, and the quiet rhythm of making something by hand. Inspired by coastal landscapes and the simple beauty found in everyday life, each gathering invites guests to slow down, observe and create without pressure or perfection.

Whether held around a dining table, at a boutique retreat, or in a thoughtfully curated space, every workshop is designed to feel welcoming, intentional and unhurried.

No artistic experience is required.

What You'll Experience

Guests are guided through the basics of relief printmaking, beginning with a small object of inspiration—a shell, leaf, flower, feather, or another natural finding that captures their attention.

Together we carve a simple design, hand-print a small series of original works, and enjoy meaningful conversation in a calm, supportive environment.

Each participant leaves with:

  • Their own hand-carved printing block

  • Three original hand-printed artworks

  • A keepsake from the evening

An Intentional Approach

Every Pili Studio workshop is intentionally small, allowing space for conversation, individual guidance and the simple joy of creating by hand.

My hope is that each guest leaves with more than a print. That they leave feeling a little more present, a little more inspired, and reminded that beauty is often found in the things we choose to notice yet too often overlook.
