FAQs
1. Are your pieces one-of-a-kind or limited?
Many of my works are created in small batches or limited editions, while others are truly one-of-a-kind. This approach allows each piece to remain intentional, personal, and rooted in the moment it was made.
What materials do you use in your work?
I work with archival-quality materials whenever possible. My giclée photography prints are produced using archival inks on fine art paper, chosen for their depth, texture, and longevity. Jewelry pieces are crafted using gold vermeil—thickly layered gold over a sterling silver base—selected for its beauty, durability, and wearability.
How should I frame my artwork?
My biggest advice is to always ensure there is space between the artwork and the glass by using a mat or framing spacers. This protects the piece over time and allows the paper to breathe. Many of my pieces feature a natural, raw edge, which can be highlighted with my favorite, float framing, or softened with a mat, depending on your preference. For more details see The Care Guide. And if you savvy framing yourself, please read my journal entry, How To Float Frame Your Artwork.
Do your prints have raw or deckled edges?
Yes—many of my prints are intentionally finished with a natural, raw edge. This detail is part of the handmade nature of the work and adds to the individuality of each piece.
How should I care for my jewelry?
Gold vermeil jewelry should be gently cleaned with a soft, dry cloth and stored separately when not in use. While vermeil is durable enough for everyday wear, avoiding lotions, perfumes, and harsh chemicals will help preserve its finish over time. Feel free to read more on The Care Guide.
What inspires your work?
My work is inspired by the quiet details of the natural world—light, shadow, texture, and the spaces often overlooked. Coastal landscapes, organic forms, and a sense of softness paired with strength influence both my imagery and my process.
